Making Learning Fun for K-12 Students and Their Parents

Making learning fun and instilling a passion for the fields of mathematics and science are just two of the goals of the ALPHA Center. The Center offers many content-rich, innovative and interactive programs for elementary through high school (K-12) students in mathematics, science and technology.

Content Opportunities in Mathematics Program for All Secondary Students (COMPASS)

COMPASS provides an educational environment for high school students that exposes them to the integration of mathematics and technology through the TI-89 graphing calculator.

Girls Excelling in Mathematics With Success (GEMS)

GEMS empowers female middle school students with knowledge about mathematics, community service, mentoring and support.

Healthy Body-Healthy Mind

In the Healthy Body-Healthy Mind program, middle school students receive instruction in mathematics as it relates to health and physical education as it relates to a healthy lifestyle, self-motivation and character development.
